Strat into a Marshall

My strat plugged straight into My Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50. I plug straight in. No effects...ever. It was recorded just with the mic on my webcam, so the sound isn't very good. It was just a bit of fooling aroung, no song or anything...I don't want the Canadian Government putting me in jail for copyright infringement. My amp settings are: left to right
Deep switch - IN
Presence - 6
Treble - 6
Middle - 4
Bass - 5
Tone Shift - OUT
Reverb Channel B - 2, Channel A - 2
Ultra Gain / Channel B Volume - 2 Lead 1
Gain - 7
Classic Gain / Channel A Volume - 2 Crunch
Gain - 6
Gain goes down as the volume goes up.

hi im thinking about getting this exact same cab from avatar and it would be awesome if you could tell me what you think about the cabinet. ive heard nothing but good about avatar and im planning on getting it loaded with Hellatone 60s, which are just broken in v30s with a warmer sound. do you find your v30s harsh at all? because i know this is a common complaint about the 30s and want to gather all the info i can about them. thanks

I wholeheartedly recommend this cab! It sounds huge. Way bigger than their standard cab, and heavier than the Marshall 1960BV, but close in sound to the Marshall...only better. I don't find it harsh, but of course you adjust your EQ to the cab. Go easy on the presence especially. Really nice sounding live too.

Thank You. I am using an Avatar Vintage 4x12 with Celestion V30's. My other videos have much better sound as this one was recorded just with the mic on the webcam.

get a simple mic, it would sound SO much better. or put the camera like 30 feet away from the amp. lol.
