Hundreds of Muslim faithfuls gathered at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, last evening for Iftar, breaking of fast, as the holy month of Ramadhan entered the 18th day. Speaking during the ceremony, tourism minister Najib Balala maintained his innocence in regard to his alleged funding of Al Shabaab but maintained that he will continue financing Muslim projects.
Balala is pulling a bait and switch. I give you the benefit of the doubt that your donation was roho safi. However!!! quit making the conversation about yourself and your donation. We need to be talking about the dude who the UN alleged diverted the cash to Al Shabaab. Islam has for too long kept quiet about those amongst them perpetrating terrorism.
