  • @InvisibleKidTMCC well said...

  • relax people he is only "paying" for his nikon sponsorship

  • You Guys Need To realize that this is not a tutorial for professional photographers .. this is just for somebody that got a fancy Camera on Christmas and they don't even know what Aperture/Speed/ISO are .. and for somebody that doesnt have soft boxes with external flashes.. now.. he's getting pay to do this.. if it was a project on "His own" he would never teach you this.

  • OMG - Joe sold his soul for money. You can see him clearly not believing himself when talking about auto mode and the automatic pop-up flash because he knows better... :-(

  • Huh, it seems that even Joe McNally can take a bad photo...

  • @chrisgraphics2000 No argument here about the quality of light coming off the on camera flash. But I am a photographer and have learned to ignore the sucker. This video, which you fail to realize, is intended for the non-photographer.... the regular Joe. Regular Joe is allowed to use the built in flash if all he wants is family snaps with his brand new Nikon. Recognizing quality of light comes later, maybe. Then they can all be as knowledgeable as you.

  • @oceandrew Quote from "The Moment it Clicks" by Joe McNally, page 160: "Straight flash is disaster light. (...) when you use straight flash, you turn your camera into a Xerox machine."

  • @chrisgraphics2000 Isn't great that a regular Joe can learn from Joe McNally how to use his new Nikon? Joe doesn't just teach photographers but anyone who wants to learn to take better photos. That's pretty cool.
