  • is this all you have pulling off the solar panels? one fan and the furnace? thanks for sharing your projects 5*****

  • My solar panels run that fan in the video and my laptop computer also a router, used by four other computers in my house. The panels charge five deep cycle batterys, hooked in series, giving me 600 amp hours plus or minus. How long it lasts before the batterys are run down depends on the sun.

  • very cool. Im getting ready to vent mine into my house. Im using two 12 volt pc fans and a 15 volt solar panel to power them. I like how you used the pvc piping to take the inlet air from just above the floor. Thanx for the vid, and check out my solar furnace. 220 degrees!

  • Good stuff, My son and I hqve been building a solar heater and are just about ready for the final installation. We are curious about how you made it "self regulatig " What kind of thermostat did you use? And if the fan is 12 volt... how did you rig it up? Thanks for any feedback you can give.
