Well it worked, I've been voting at the same address for over 16 years but just in case I took picture ID and a bank statement just in case something went wrong. It didn't but if it had I had the paperwork with me.

We're having numerous problems voting here in Georgia, the Secretary of State, Karen Handel, is picking up Katherine Harris' baton and looking ahead to her own political future. If she delivers Georgia, no telling where she could go...

I'm glad he finally answered the question about early voting in states (like NY or MD) where you can only do it absentee. This is the first time I've heard him advocate in person absentee voting and give a good reason for it. Before I'd always heard him say don't vote absentee, but now he's suggesting do it in front of election officials so they can explain to you how it's done in person so you know how to follow their often wonky procedures to make sure your vote's counted. I'm voting tomorrow.

great stuff Greg... its hard enough getting people out to vote at all. Nearly 40% didn't vote at all last time! That would 'swing' it to Ralph Nader if they all voted for him!
This is excellent advice. Don't sacrifice your right to vote! Know the facts! Greg Palast has provided the electorate a great service. You must also see him on PBS's N.O.W. program from this past August (also on youtube) talking about Republican "caging" activities in battleground states. Everyone interested in voting rights should see that.
