A great many of the men at the Alamo were Mexican (the term Hispanic means you are from Spain, La Española, and was not used until the 1970's when for some reason Mexicans no longer wished to be called Mexicans. The battle of the Alamo was fought as a Mexican Civil War against Santa Anna for appointing himself dictator and doing away with the constitution of 1824. The flag flying at the Alamo was the flag of Mexico with 1824 printed across it. Texas had not declared its independence yet.
@john3628. Does it matter? I'm pretty sure if a hispanic dude wanted to get into this he could. Plus ur only seeing one part of the reenactment. I'm Hispanic and live in sa most people don't know anything about the alamo sad world....
7:21 YouTube video: Re-enactment of the Battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836; recorded on March 9, 2009, at the site of the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas.
March 6, 2011: 175th Anniversary of the Fall of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
Has anybody ever considered seeing if you could get special permission to do the Alamo Battle Reenactment at either The Alamo Village or the 2004 Movie set? That would be an awesome site to see.
Nice to see Paul kickin some arse! You see me as Bonham for a split second at 6:06, far right of the screen. Gray coat, white belt, white possibles bag.

Wow, that was cool. Anyone that hasn't has to go. What a family event and an opportunity to teach your kids history and especially local history.

A massive reenactment at Alamo Village in Brackettville is supposed to be in the works next year to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Alamo.
