I'm reading this book at the moment and I have promised myself that I can rewatch this series when I finish it as my incentive!

Judy Parfitt's Mrs. Clennan rivals her outstanding performance as Vera Donovan in Dolores Claiborne. (Particularly the last episode of the series.) How this extremely talented and skilled artiste hasn't garnered more "official" recognition at the emmys, oscars or baftas is absolutely bafta-ling, I mean, baffling! Brava, Ms. Parfitt!!!

This and North and South were amazing!!!
