@DaveC86 You're an idiot.

Although it's cool that you were able to wire the the xbox controller to the NES I would choose the NES controller any day. Trying to play Megaman 9 with an xbox controller was a real hassle for me.

@TeamNES1 It's possible, I never owned, or even saw a top loading NES in my life, so, maybe they shipped those with SNES shaped controllers. Anyways, the rounded ones I knew were for the SNES, and the ones I knew for the NES were rectangular. If you want to see the rectangular controller I'm talking about, I'm sure you can find a video about it here on youtube.

@camilowish I see. I believe they also made some Super NES-style controllers for the NES, and if memory serves, these rounded controllers were initially included with the top-loading NES. Then again, I'm just taking a wild guess.

@TeamNES1 The "Dog bone" ones were the SNES controllers. The ones for the NES were real simple. A plain rectangle with a d-pad, two plastic red buttons on the other side and 2 rubber buttons (select and start) in the middle.

That's verey COOL!

Damn, I knew I should have saved that broken XBox controller for this... Ah well.
Anyway, that's pretty tight, man. I should figure out how to hard wire an NES controller board into my broken PS2 controller. That way, I could play Super Mario Bros. with a truly ergonomically correct controller rather than with those ridiculous-looking "dog bone" controllers for NES.

Yah, took me a while to get rid of it.
Abitibi-Temiscaming FTW!
Do analog sticks work because I don't like 360 d-pad?

@videogamerevie81
Yes with the code provided on google code (usbarm) I have access to every single button and stick on the controller.

Interesting video.
Btw, your French Canadian accent is rather hard to miss.

Hehe yeah. It's even worst since I come from a french only place and I lived there for 20 years. I'll work on that for my next video :)
