Een buurman van mij had bij de 7 december divisie gezeten. Hij is inmiddels overleden, en ik vind het jammer dat ik niet langer met hem daarover heb kunnen praten. Zijn achternaam was Langerak, en hij was aanwezig op mijn bruiloft toen ik trouwde met een Indonesische vrouw.
