@jabdeans i see your comment everytime and i cant believe no one has responded. you are right, the jest here is that his true love slipped away and that is crippling.the reason he is an artist is he can make us feel that pain and lament without hearing an hour long story of the details...thanks for your comment, i admire when someone can get the point of a song and cut to the chase, i think you and i both lost our true loves ....but i hope better times are in your future.....thanks

great version..this song is so deeply penetrating,like all his songs he pours his heart out and somehow it must be theraputic to him or else he simply has more composure than anyone,...it rips my heart apart everytime but i cant stop listening
