perception defines consciousness, and both of them come into existence within the man.

since proof of existence is thought, then the reason we exist is because we think and believe in our existence

Even if we were to finally "know" the answer, after death, or after living a thousand life times, that answer could still be questioned. Let your subconcious ask this question..to the answer ,if we ever get it. Ok, whatever the answer is. then ask why were we and everything else created. what was its purpose.

yes, but its still not accurate, thought is not the proof of existence, it is the condition to it.

We have no choise but to think, as we have no choise but to exist, to say that one preceded the other is to say that time came before space, you cannot separete them, for they present themselves as one.

also, we do not belive in our existence, we come to the conclusion that we exist, given our experiences.
