Many Nazi collaborator throughout Europe obtained Vatican passports, thanks to Mussolini reforms, making the Vatican a state, and fled to Catholic South America. Many photos of priests blessing German Troops going to fight and occupy Eastern Europe. Vatican did very little to oppose Hitler even the Polish Pope did nothing to oppose the Germans in Poland. Our German Pope, Benedict, was in the Nazi Youth League. The Pope's family was pro Nazi. This is a fact.

Very supportive? References? Deep support? All terms of opinion on your part "padre..". Perhaps you haven't read the Catholic point of view, here's a very clear cut chronology, with references at the bottom. There are many attacks of Blessed Pope Pius XII for not protecting the Jews, being Hitler's Pope. I think this propoganda is taking advantage of the ignorance of the situation. Pope Pius XII was perhaps his "greatest foe".

The Catholic church has opposed, land reform and almost every form of progressive change. The Nationalist movements in the 30"s in Europe had deep support from the Catholic Church. Bavaria was a Catholic stronghold where Hitler sought and obtained protection. The Church is on record of never opposing Hitler, but in fact was supportive in his bid to become chansllor of Germany in pre war Germany. Mussiloni and Franco were both very supportive and supported by the Church.

Who was the Church supposed to support in Latin America? What year was this? Go get an unbiased reference of history, dates, times, who, what, when, where? Did you get this stuff from a Anti-Catholic book from the 60s or something?

References that the official position of the Catholic Church was to support Fascism?? Simply because those men were born Catholic, that makes the Church support all their views, no matter where they may go or what they may say?

Show me some references, official quotes by the Pope of the time. Other than that, you are speaking on your own authority and opinion.

America was allied with the Russians in WWII, does that mean we were Communist supporters? Again...??

@54DayRosaryNovena The hatred came from the Catholic Church. It has never apologized for the inquision or for supporting the oligarchy in Latin America against the poor and landless Catholics. An apology would be nice. It has never apologized for the Thirty Years War either.

@54DayRosaryNovena The Church supported fascism in Europe. The main fascist actors, Hilter, Mussolini and Franco were Catholic. All the volunteers in the Eastern Front were Catholic, like the Belgiuns and Spaniards and many Italians.
