Bryce Wastney with 200 kid choir - Pink Floyd's Brick In The Wall.mov

8 Primary school kids spent 2 months with NZ recording artist Bryce Wastney rehearsing and performed Pink Floyd's "the Wall" at a school musical in New Plymouth, NZ Aug 20-21 2008.

The experience of refining 1 song and performing well has led to a huge leap in confidence and were featured in the daily news News paper.

The Pink Floyd song chosen generated some healthy controversy and the kids loved it! The song is a snap shot of what education used to be and it shows us how far we've come.

Bryce arranged all the parts according to the kids ability levels so they would feel confident.

Thanks to Waves Motion Picture for generously filming a land mark night in school music history!

What on earth makes you think schools are any better now than they were in 1979? Except that I think perhaps more kids then knew that the word was 'performance' not 'proformance' Teachers though, are no better than they were then, and generally less intelligent.
