These were well educated people; leaders in the Revolution who believed in an Absent God; one who came, completed his work and moved on. It is great to have Churches for people who need guidance, but for those who do not believe in the organized religions, there is no need.

@DiatonicSoul I never mentioned Jesus in my comments about the organized religion. The stories of Jesus shows he was pure. He was a teacher and a healer. However, the corruption of a system of control is part of many cultures and religions. Not all are bad. Some are as pure as Jesus! However that control is over people, money and power and is the reason many do not believe in the Organized Religions of the world.

Anyone who has studies history knows the truth.

The facts are, he did open a bag of worms in Miami and the Brotherhood is very active and need to be stopped and put in their place. However, the brotherhood is not the only problem in this country and around the world. The real problem is ignorance!

@DiatonicSoul Slaughter, rape, plunder, pillage along with slavery has been part of human existence for thousands of years; God or no God. In fact, Christians and other religious followings have murdered more human beings than any other part of world societies.

Japanese also enslaved Koreans, raped their women, forced them into Prostitution and did not care as they were less than human. How many killed between Christians and Catholics in Europe all over religious power?
