  • How blessed are we to be born in this time when Jetsunma is bringing Dharma to the West? May all benefit!

  • We are all entitled to believe what we want. Let us focus on having compassion for each other and all sentient beings.

  • Beware..........she's a fake.......... She is corrupted and making religion a source of money............its shameful some handful of people are destroying the profound teaching of dharma.

May buddha save all living beings from such cults like her , steven seagal, and geshe kelsang gyatso.

  • Me too skeptical but it was recognised by HH Penor rinpoche, that is why I close one eye and let go it.

  • I think a lot of people also tend to misunderstand the idea of a "tulku". Nobody has said that she is enlightened, in fact, her teachers have specifically instructed her that she is NOT enlightened.

  • There is a book about her called "The Buddha from Brooklyn" that you might find interesting.

My conclusion (and I'm NOT one of her followers) is that though she might be a flawed human being, she has still made amazing accomplishments that don't just happen spontaneously. If you or I tried to go out & form the kind of organization that she had, we'd probably fail.

  • You are, of course, welcome to think what you like, but I was present at this event, and you have my word as a monk that it's authentic, as is this teacher. Try not to believe everything you read.

  • I am extremely skeptical about this.

After reading the Wikipedia page on her and she's also mentioned in the book "Stripping the gurus" I have problems believing she is any kind of enlightened being or reincarnation of such.

I personally think that she is BS. Just another person using organized religion to promote and elevate themselves at the expense of others.
