New Mastec 240L Recycling bin!

Hey all,

My local council, Darebin Council recently changed their bin colour choice for the recycling bins. They now have the bright yellow lid and dark green bin instead of the old yellow lid and nature green bin.

After an incident with my old bin, the council delivered a brand new one, which happened to be sporting the new colours.

The bin is a new model Mastec 240LTR. It has a SULO lid and SULO wheels, so it is a unique bin!

I saw a green waste bin the other day in your council also with with a dark green body so they must be changing green waste and recycling to a dark body, possibly to align with Australian Standards

@jatho4 - Yes, i also have one of the new green waste bins. And yes you are correct because that is what the council is doing, but weirdly, they are not using red lids yet haha.

very nice new bin, I like how it says the size right there on the side of it. Most companies here have the size as the first 2 digits in the serial number.

@3amrepmike3 - Thanks Mike, Yeah the bold size lettering looks very nice. I noticed the way they do that in some photos haha, much different to what they do down here.

a very unique bin indead ive seen a lightf green one hear in Maitland but the resedents must have bought it the selves since the council only gives out SULOS exept this bin had mastec wheels lid and body any way nice vid fav
