Let's Play: Karate Kick (iOS)

Finally I've finished an iOS game! Myself (Michael Moffitt) and Julian Hammerstein of CSH @ RIT have finished our iOS game called Karate Kick! You are a martial artist and your dojo is being challenged! It's up to you to fight off hundreds of challengers very quickly using your excellent kicks! The gameplay is simple, but it quickly gets challenging. You just have to turn to face your enemies to kick them; if they kick you and you aren't facing them, you will take damage.

In this video I'm playing it on the PC with the keyboard; the tutorial shows how to play it using the touchscreen, though.

We plan on releasing it on the App Store soon.

It says you get another life for every 250 points, but in the actual game play, you got a new life for every 200 points. Minor discrepancy.

Man, this game is awesome.

Maybe make the kick sounds change pitch so they sound different each time by 10 or so hertz and have power up options and a bonus (EG: break the boards) each 200 knock-out?
