Go behind the scenes with Derek Settlemyre, head equipment manager for the Philadelphia Flyers professional hockey team, one of the most popular franchises in the NHL. Work the Show camera crews follow Derek as he prepares the team for a morning skate at the Flyer's practice facility known as the Skatezone in Voorhees, NJ. Derek must then move player equipment to the Wachovia Center, home venue of the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers for an evening contest against the Dallas Stars. Follow Derek from the equipment room to the locker room and behind the bench for the game.

So how would you go about getting a job like this? Just try to get in to the team early or what? Like I've played hockey all my life and know so much about the game and the equipment, so just wondering if anyone knew?

@bukakee1 Head Equip Mgr I'd say 150k,asst equip 65k-80k..Although the org may depend on salary too...I'm basing this off of baseball too,so I maybe wrong...
