i still can't get past the fact that the FSI < TSI. I think it's because of the HPFP on the FSI...fueling issues on the FSI is what really kills it. Then again, the new R has an FSI engine with a K04 turbo, so I think the FSI is still a better engine.

It doesnt matter if the dyno reads high.. All that matters is that these comparison runs were done on the same dyno with the same conditions. There's no better way to compare than that. Is this true about the ecu needing to adjust to the reflash?

Still what engine is in the TT-S, S3, Edition 30, Pirelli Edition, The new R20 Golf? Oh, thats right the FSI. The TSI is a good engine. But its chain driven. I wouldnt wanna boost to high on a Chain driven engine.

Wow that Dyno really reads high. 207whp for a stock FSI? Not a chance in hell.
My 07 FSI with only intake put down 198whp
Also it took my car several days to adapt to my Stage 1 Flash. I'm not surprised by the number since they just flashed the damn thing.

But nonetheless it is still consistently putting out better numbers

TSI owns face lol. I just got APR Stage 1 this past Monday, and it rips so much harder than stock. <3 it!

You should probably get your facts straight before posting... its the exact same software that you'd pay except for one thing... It only lasts 5-6hrs
Most people dont experience the full power at first b/c their ECU needs to adapt to the software
so yes, he probably would have put down a couple more whp if his ecu had time to adapt, but not more than 252... TSI ftw

in the newer 2008's and all the 2009 GTI's there are new TSI engines. The older GTI models have the FSI engines. There are a lot of things different between the two engines
