NY School Changes Name to Honor Obama

Yeah for oba Mao---first Kenyan to successfully buy and thug his way into the White House.

He has "earned" nothing! He hasn't done anything to help, only harm this nation!

Correction - "The First African President", there is nothing American about him or his agenda.

The school should be ashamed that the children don't know who the school was named after!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a lovely insult to the Ludlum family and the memory of the man the school was named for. If the kids did not know anything about Ludlum, as the principal said, that indicates a failing on the part of the school's history department. When Barack Obama proves to be the worst president in the history of this nation, will they scramble to change the name back?

bapyou, I was almost starting to respect you, but I'm very disappointed to see you retreat to tired old liberal playbook standbys. "Rich" is usually used in such a manner as to be a relative term. "Wealthy" is something altogether different. If one makes $100k per year, someone who makes $30k may consider them "rich", but I'm willing to bet that "rich" person works his/her ass off. Change the numbers a bit if you will for different areas of the country, but the point is still the same.

(I'd also wager highly that you, my friend, are in absolutely no position to make that assessment, especially from your lofty ivory tower of make believe.)

It's SHOCKING that residents of this school district would allow the name change without putting up a fight (protest).

If the pupils "don't know who Charles Ludlum was" as indicated by that schoolteacher/principal, then SHAME ON THEM. That is their own fault for not teaching the students the history of their own school.

Obama is not the "1st black President." Bill Clinton was the 1st black President, remember? (HE TOLD US SO!)
