Brought in by charter jet to Hays airport, then escorted by Hays American Legion riders and Patriot Guard riders to Hays Memorial Chapel. Fittingly, since he was a helicopter pilot, the chopper in the video hovered a few hundred feet above the hearse the entire route to the funeral home.

RIP CW2 Bryan Nichols. When I stood to honor CWO4 David Carter I also stood in honor of your service. All of the Patriot Guard Riders salute your service. You are a liberator of the oppressed which makes you the noblest of men. We will never forget you and your families sacrifice for our country. Our Great Nation stands on the shoulders of hero's such as you Bryan. Your inspiration to our country is large and it will do great things for your brothers in arms. Thank you and your family.
