Cross Carrier Chuck

Chuck has been carrying the Cross for Christ for over 7yrs. on a 10yr. calling. He's crossed the U.S. 11 times, so far!

If you're going to make such a grand statement by "carrying your cross" why not make more of an impact by carrying it the way Jesus Christ would have carried his cross. First of all Christ wouldn't have had a wheel on his cross to ease the burden of dragging the weight on his back. Christ also would have been barefoot. And you might consider getting a crown of thorns, and try navigating your path through eyes filled with blood, sweat, and tears. Plus, your cross wouldn't even hold your weight.

Hey Miranda, Just saw your post. Why be so angry? The guy is just showing people about the cross. Because Jesus did do all of the things you spoke about, we don't have to. Isn't that beautiful? Chuck's cross carrying purpose is to create conversation and dialog about the process. Maybe you should carry your cross for a while before you go hatin' on someone else.

Just met Chuck yesterday in Weatherford, Oklahoma, heading East. His Cross had spit and we loaded it onto my sisters SUV and hauled it to ACE hardware, where I bought the screws and ACE furnished a worker and a drill. After the Cross was fixed, Chuck prayed with us in the parking lot of ACE, then he was on his way again. His Cross is now carrying the name of Dustin Dowty, my nephew, who was killed on Nov 7. God Bless you, Chuck, your an Angel from God!

When we met Chuck in June 2010, I asked him , "If someone asked you how they could be sure they would go to heaven when they die, what would you say to them?" Astonishingly, Chuck could not answer the question. He kept saying how he was carrying the cross and all that he had done. He did not know and was not communicating to others -- "Simply put your trust in Jesus, His suffering and death on the cross for your personal sins and receive forgiveness of sins and the free gift of eternal life."

We have met him and talked with him. The sad news is yes, Chuck carries a cross but we're sorry to report he does not know the gospel. We hope he will one day soon understand why Yeshua (Jesus) came and died on the tree (cross). Here it is, the gospel (good news!) for you from John 3:16... ♡
