  • Where is Aristide??? What a crime to kidnap a democratically elected President. why can't somebody kidnap my president, Bush or Obama!

  • I've been reading 'Getting Haiti Right This Time' and I am appalled at what I am learning... I can't even wrap my mind around the fact that he is still being held against his will. I hope his presidency isn't being wasted... when he goes back to Haiti, if he goes back, I hope he gets to continue serving as president. Americans should be ashamed, I know I am.

  • this man is an unsung hero of the people of Haiti, it is a shame and a crime that more people in the US aren't aware of the situation. our citizens are purposefully ignorant of the history of our foreign policy, I'm sure the corporations and military must be quite pleased with themselves.

  • @nickvanzetti Bro you have no idea what you talking about, don't further any speculations

  • Excellent! And it reminds me of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr when he said that while he only advocated peaceful activism, he could not condemn people who would react for the same reasons, but while using violent methods.

  • Aristid was an assasin as a president he did Haiti Wrost .

could anyone tell me one positive policies or good think that Aristid did for haiti.

beside putting gun on the hand on young people and kids to produce kidnaping and stelling .

Aristid was the wrost, wrost ,wrost pesident that has serve Haiti.

  • when i was a kid i though this guy was special, like he got power and so smart. now i dont think he is, hes to soft, that why he can control haiti. having him as a president is like having Michael Jackson as a president, a really soft guy.

  • well not using weapons gets haiti in the shithole it is in today there come a time when you have to fight for what you want...You will never be free unless you are able to defend yourself. When they can depose of a leader as easily as they did with Aristide it shoes non-violence to be unsuccessful. Haiti wasn't liberated from slavery through peaceful protest and voting with the french, it was a bitter war. This is nothing but idealism we have to get practical in this new world.

  • viv Aristide!

  • He was unwillingly deported from his nation for denouncing imperialism and corruption. cough cough marines anyone ??

  • i can´t hear anythingggggg.. no puedo escuchar nadaaaa
