When I was a kid I had a Royaltones 45 with a song titled 'Clip Clop'. I can't remember the title of the song on the flip side. They were both great. I would love to see both of these posted here. Does anyone else remember these, and if you happen to have the record, would you please upload them?
The answer to the gum-chewing, why are all of the audience always chewing gum? The show was sponsored by Wrigley's Double-Mint Chewing gum. Every kid who showed up got a free pack of gum, not to mention those who always brought their own along. Gum chewing was all a part of the 50's scene. You weren't cool unless you had a wad of gum in your mouth.
One of the great instrumentals - in the UK the flipside was "Wail" released on the London American label like many of the great American records of this era.
