You've never heard of dragon's breath..? It's an actual shell that uses superheated zirconium (i think, don't quote me on that) to make it as if your shotgun was a molten metal spewing monster. Maybe do some research before you start flaming youtubers. Google is always nice.

I've heard of dragonsbreath shells, what would make you think otherwise? I heard of them in a catalog years ago when I was a kid (before ebay and amazon replaced mail order) and would probably have bought a few by now if they weren't illegal in FL. You're correct, it's just powdered zirchonium. It actually is only heated and slightly burning until it exits the muzzle so it's not harmful to the weapon. Once it contacts oxygen the fun starts.

its not when its in contact with oxygen, its when its dispersed as a powder that it burns. It wont catch alight if its consentrated
