This is made with a 3D experience authoring software called 3DVIA Virtools. In fact the sensor is the webcam which detect the box movements.

It's not fake at all. It's called augmented reality. He's showing the cereal box to a camera on a computer that generates the game on to the screen. So the game is not actually on the cereal box. This video is actually what you see on the computer screen, not what you would see on the box.
