The Chaser's Chris Taylor was hired by the ABC to make some Ads for the Logies. This in itself is wrong, but the content of the ads he made is just down right offensive. There is no humour in people reduced to eating mud!!! Shame on Chris Taylor!

  • Funny ad. Anyone under 50 would agree.

  • I'm under 50, I obviously do not agree, hence why I uploaded this video.

  • Well you are quite exceptional then, aren't you?

  • Thanks for the compliment. Not everyday I get called exceptional. Or were you being condescending?

    Have a nice day :-)

  • Its not that funny yes, I get it, but common, no need to make a big deal about it.

  • Maybe not, but I had just finished editing my video Food Crisis in Haiti, 5 minutes before watching this episode of Media Watch. I was as you could imagine, unimpressed.

  • If you're so upset about it then why not go help some of these people that are starving instead of whinging?

  • i think it was fucking funny as

  • this was funny, what's not funny about it?

  • The disappointing thing about this Media Watch episode is the fact that, in presenting their view, they use the same sort of sensationalist, straw man bullshit that they were founded to counter. For example, the comment they cited in favour of their point was well worded, while the comment against was not. In addition, the host's condescension is grating. I don't know where to stand on the issue, but to be honest, I'm likely to side against Media Watch on this one for these reasons.

  • It's making a point that there are bigger issues in the world. Now stop whingeing and go away.

  • @jimztar The reason he was bagging his boss was all about politics. The presenter was far left wing labor party fanatical and the boss was a high ranking liberal party official. Because the election was approaching both parties were trying to discredit the other however they could. So the presenter exploited a gap in the armor that was given to him and he struck.

  • hahaha i found that hilarious

  • I understand the satire, but I admire Jonathan Holmes for having the courage to criticise his own boss on TV.

Still, there's nothing funny about people living in poverty. Maybe if the proceeds from the Logies were going to feed the poor, it wouldn't have come across as so insensitive. But if you think somebody needs to "get a life" because they refuse to laugh at something that causes more deaths in four years than the death toll of the holocaust, you need to get some perspective.

  • @jivebungy1st thanks for reminding me of this funny clip from 2 years ago.

  • @Nahasapasa

I'm 32, been a fan of the chaser's since CNNNN, seen them live etc. and frankly I'm probably alot cooler than you.

I don't find it funny. Not particularly worth hauling anyone over the coals for, but definitely not funny.

Every now and then the Chaser boys cross the line, this is one of those times. When you have to produce jaded/shock comedy on a regular basis, it's probably bound to happen. Props to Sentient Sight for uploading.

  • Shame on you for not getting the fucking joke....dumbass
