  • Not stock! The "LS1" in the video title indicates that the engine is a General Motors (i.e., Chevrolet) aluminum block & head Vee 8-cylinder (i.e., V8). Kinda like your user name, straightsixM52, indicates you probably drive a 2.8liter BMW. My 325i is a M50B25, but I wouldn't mind if it had a LS1 instead - woo hoo! Also, the GM LS1 V8 is considerably more compact and a bit lighter than a standard BMW straight six.

  • Probably the nicest response to an idiot I've ever seen.. only to get asked the same question again. How do you deal with that? /facepalm

  • What muffler is that?

  • Ive been doing some research on the swap kits. the Vorshlag one is priced reasonably. Does anyone know if it requires a diffrent brake booster , and relocating the Brake lines. They dont give much details on thier website.

    Thanks.
