23 year old Brandon O'Neill -- one of the world's best gymnasts on the floor -- and now vying to become Canada's new Golden Hero.

Brandon has been described as the next Kyle Shewfelt -- his fellow Canadian who captured Gold on the Floor in the last Olympics.

This native of Edmonton started at age 3.
For the past five years, Brandon has consistently challenged the world's best gymnasts
on his two best events: Floor and Vault.

At this past winter's Good Luck Games in Beijing, Brandon claimed Silver on the Floor.

His approach?

Try to have fun -- especially when your body feels only pain.
And persevere for perfection because winning is decided by the smallest fraction of a point.
