Mormon beliefs: Mormons believe God speaks. Mormons believe the Bible is the word of God. Mormons believe the Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ. Each Mormon believes in continuing revelation from God. Mormons believe that God still speaks to prophets today. (Mormon Mormons Mormonism)

Mormon Apostle, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave this testimony of continuing revelation and Mormon beliefs at the April 2008 Mormon (LDS) general conference. The LDS Church is commonly known as the Mormon Church.

  • @LDS4Life71 So where were the three Nephites of the book of mormon tale during this melt down. Were they not ordained to administer the Gospel of Jesus while never tasting death ? Remaining mute during the supposed "Great apostasy" ?

  • What would it be like to witness firsthand the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ? Actors who took part in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' (Mormon) Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos project had this opportunity, if only in a vicarious way.

  • My mother and father were only a generation removed from the pioneers who journeyed across the vast plains of America's heartland to settle in the valleys of the Mountain West. After my father graduated from the George Washington University Law School, the Great Depression drew my parents back to Utah, where he was fortunate to find work in a number of legal capacities in the Southern part of the state.

  • Even as a child, I did not see the practices and beliefs that constitute Mormonism as an imposition, but as the unfolding of "who I was" in the meaningful and purposeful World that God created for all of his children. The gospel was an invitation for me to fulfill my potential.

  • I cannot remember a time when I did not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the restoration of its fullness in our day, and in the central role the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints plays in proclaiming the "good news."

  • @1overthehillsfaraway You were warned yet you continued. You will be banned. Feel free to return when you can act like an adult.

  • @omiolo to make a long story short, u mormons are boring and suck ass

  • @omiolo Yah right! Refrain from vulgarity and profantity? Joseph smith was a sexual deviant interested in young woman who he coerced into relationships and marriage through threats. This is recorded FACT. "LYING FOR THE LORD: ... another well documented mormon tactic and doctrine... how shameful is that? You probably are not even aware of that well practiced mormon doctrine... fraud, counterfitting and murder were all practiced by mormon founders this recorded history. FUCK YOU LDS ASS!!
