By "data" do you mean the bible? Whatever this "data" is, it certainly is not of scientific nature.

Dawkins said it was a possibility, not a probability that aliens designed life. I'm positive he doesn't believe that is the case due to the lack of evidence. However, it is still much more likely than what the bible proposes.

And you're right, a advanced civilazation would never travel here at light speed. They would be better ways they could travel across the universe, like a warp drive or a warm hole that is possible according to the laws of physics.

surely you can't think, at least that the biblical God is a fictional character. Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means against the idea of some 'creator'. but perhaps the purpose of life is to understand the universe, that would mean we are the universe attempting to understand itself.
