Macintosh TV, not widely released because it's an NTSC only format and not supporting PAL format, a widely used format around the globe. Anyhow, I think it's survived by it's successor, AppleTV, today. Macworks? What about it? It's just a software migration tool developed for new Macintosh users switching from Apple's Lisa. Macintosh portable? First look at the IBM's 5140. Now tell me which is the loser.
The rest... G4 cube (LE product), ROKR... XD it's not even Apple's. Newton & Pippin were wrong calls made by then-CEO Gil Amelio. eWorld a failure? eWorld was a partner software of AOL & with AOL's popularity increased then, Apple's decided to drop eWorld for a much unified AOL. 'Hockey puck mouse' was a failure I admit. AU/X's not even a consumer product, what's the point talking about it... contunued...
Computer built-in to monitor...? It's called All-In-One, dullard. FAILED too? Oh oh... I see... you mean HP Pavillion AIO MS200 & Touchsmart series or is it Acer's Aspire Z5600 which all run Windows 7? If they think iMac's a failure, why would they even follow the trend?
PowerPC failed? XD Early Xbox released in 2005 was spotted using Apple PowerMac G5 processors (PPC750) and eventually turned to IBM's PPC-Xenon, a new range of Tri-core Xenon running 3.2GHz, latest generation of PowerPC processors.
PowerPC processors from Mac G3s & G4s, in it's prime and in the same timeline when Pentium 3 & 4 was introduced, was twice as fast running the same speed neck to neck, due to it's Velocity Engine architecture, compared to Intel's MMX bottleneck extension.
MC68000 FAILED? XD The Motorola 680x0/m68k/68k/68K is a family of 32-bit CISC microprocessors. During the 80s & 90s, they were popular in personal computers & workstations & were primary competitors of Intel's x86's. Although no modern desktops are based on 68k, derivative processors are still widely used in embedded applications. As of 1998, the 68K family was the best-selling 32-bit architecture in the world. 79 million 68K chips were sold in 1997, compared to about 75 million Pentium-PCs.
Then we have the wonderful G4 cube, Rokr, Newton, Pippin, AppleEWorld, AU/X, "Hockey Puck" mouse, MacIntoch TV, Appleworks, QuickTake camera, MacIntoch portable, etc. Most were copies of others products and all failed horribly.
