In 1980, Motorhead released their fourth studio album Ace Of Spades. Loud, Fast and overwhelmingly heavy, Ace Of Spades would propel Motorhead into the ranks of Heavy Metals elite and 25 years later is still considered a benchmark album in its genre.

Motorheads inception came after bassist/singer and surprisingly vicars son Lemmy Kilmister was ousted for excessive drug use from legendary prog rockers Hawkwind in 1975. Taking the name from the last song he wrote for Hawkwind, Lemmy went off to form the band Motorhead. Shortly after releasing their self titled debut album, guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke joined the band, resulting in what would become the classic Motorhead line up of Lemmy(bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke(guitar) and Philip Philthy Animal Taylor(drums).

Motorhead-Ace Of Spades Classic Album sees Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clarke and Philip Philthy Animal Taylor talk candidly about the writing and recording of the album and the goings on inside the Motorhead camp at the time. Watch Fast Eddie as he demonstrates how the riff for Ace Of Spades came about, and see the trio (with the help of modern technology) together on the same stage once again. Also featured are exclusive interviews with the likes of Slash (GunsnRoses/Velvet Revolver), Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Dave Brock (Hawkwind) and many more.

  • Did J. bieber survive a few minutes with Lemmy ?!

  • 0:39 I would kill for that mixing console :D or that hat!

  • @InactiveMedussa

For english speaking people they are both quite easy to understand.

The problem starts when one has to take consideration of that kind of american hollywood bubbling being introduced as a... "language". Then it is, when one has really trouble trying to decipher what those villagers might try to communicate to people who escaped the state of homo neanderthalensis a loooong time ago.

So much about understaning a language!

  • fuck i hate ads
