This kind of roles definetely are not for him, but he insists due to his ego and stubborness, little by little he is affecting his voice.

Why does Alagna do this? Such a good singer who picks far too heavy repertoire for his fach. He's slowly destroying his reputation. He really needs to take a lesson from the La Scala incident and stop this madness!

I think that he sounds very good here, although I do agree that this is heavy repertoire. I was suprise to see this. I didn't think he would sing this.
