Wow! Such a beautiful song and interpretation. The torch was passed to Natalie Cole by Ella, Sarah, Nat, Frank, Carmen, Billie and all the other superstars of yesteryear. She killed this song and deserved a standing ovation.

They were all fabulous. Natalie is the best scatter alive today. She is truely from the Ella Fitzgerald genre. Natalie is elegent, classy, sophisticated, beautiful and talented. There is no genre of music that Natalie can't sing. They were all playing so well. Ella I am sure was so proud.

Oohhhhhh... this song gets me every time. I've seen it performed terribly (oh how painful) and, of course, I've seen the video on Youtube of Ella... oooooooohhhhhhhoohhhhhhh

@bsteinesq Amen

she does sing more effortlessly than whitney houston. i honestly think she's a better singer/performer than whitney houston.

Thats Natalie... effortlessly the song just becomes her.

The whole song throughout, I was expecting a sax solo (or interlude) by Wayne Shorter, but that loud and insensitive dabadobidabba was constantly interrupting Shorters tasteful playing :(

Natalie is working this song over. She's one of the best scatters around.

Classic Natalie Cole singing the blues & jazz love her much!
I'm without words to describe this woman and her beautiful way with this song. I'm sure Ella would approve.
