I finally made it to that point. This ad could have been about anybody, I could have failed the SATs; just the idea that hard work, at the end of the day, leaves you with your best shot. Hard work makes whatever happens into a sure thing. You can live free of regret, free of thinking about other possibilities, things that could have gone differently.
I know this is just an ad for some basketball shoes, but it really spoke to me. PS: I aced my SATs! :) 99% verbal, 88% math

I watched this every day while I was studying for my SATs... Seeing Carmelo working hard every day, trying to get better, striving for what he wanted drove me.
Why wouldn't I want the last shot, when I know I've already made it? Why wouldn't I want to take this test when I know I've already practiced all of the problems again, and again, and again?
Getting to the point where you embrace the challenge that you've prepared so well for and knowing that success is a sure thing is what I wanted.
