Between Demo - Music Progression

This isn't a gameplay video. All this video shows is how the music becomes more complicated as you progress through. I might post a gameplay video soon but I'm still not 100% sure how to play the game!

Background:
So I spotted this rather strange game on steam the other day and decided to check it out. All the store info page had was a screenshot, a rather abstract game description and very basic controls. It also said it was multiplayer. After loading up, I found someone to play against and begun. It took me about 10mins to figure out what the hell was going on but I eventually did but even now I'm not 100% sure how the game works or why you need two players. If anyone can fill me in then please do. Specifically what the objective is and how to spawn turquoise, purple and yellow blocks.

The other player is needed in order to produce cyan, magenta, and yellow blocks.

I'd explain more, but it's better if you figure it out on your own. That's the point of the game, after all

Ah, that makes sense =). I knew there had to be some colour mixing at some point but I wasn't fully sure where. Thanks for the info

does anyone know how to combine colors? I tried checkerboarding 2 colors but it ends up making the first of the 2 main colors. I'd like to understand how the players interact each other

what is the point in this game! i finished my tower but i'm not doing it three times!

I can't find any information about what happens when you beat this game. I'm really curious, but whenever I join with strangers they never finish their towers and just go afk after a short while.

I finished all three towers.

Nothing happened.

I was even able to play with a friend in the same room. Her blocks on her screen produced blocks on my screen, though I won't say what the translation was.

Nothing told me that the game was over after all three towers were completed.

However she had only completed two towers. Maybe both players have to finish all three towers.

the thing i dont like about this game is that when you finish the stack on one world, nothing happens... im guessing you have to finish the stack on all 3 worlds, in which case i cant be bothered... the ending would have to be really good to justify doing it 3 times!

has anyone finished this game fully?

You're supposed to figure it out for yourself. No, you can't communicate with the other player.
