"Sky Candy Sprouting Violet," Augusta Read Thomas (1964 - ), Spring Festival 2009, New England Conservatory Children's Choruses, Matti Kovler, Director
@xLadyEviex That would require the music to have grace, tune, and beauty, but that's my personal opinion of the music and the composer.
There's never a need to be negative toward ensembles when they are attempting music of this level. People complain about the "classical" genre going in decline, but then the people most passionate about that genre give negative comments like this to the young musicians, the future if you will. Why not help inspire to continue instead of being discouraging?
I know this song is by NO means easy to learn, and I congratulate you guys for attempting it, but I really feel that it could have been sung with a lot more grace, tune, and beauty
