US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been seizing Internet domains all in the name of combating piracy including foreign websites like Spain based Rojadirecta which is now fighting back. Their parent company Puerto 80 has filed what many think is the first courthouse challenge to "Operation in Our Sites".

  • This is totally unconstitutional for Government to seize domain names. The Federal Judge was wrong today and if it's appealed, it will be overturned. Government cannot censor the net. It's against the first amendment.

  • How 'bout ICE go do their actual job, which is protecting our damn border, since they can't do that job!

    Scrap Video/music Copyright!

  • Oh what a win this would be for the people.

As I have stated many times before, here is the modern America corporate model in a nutshell. If your business model fails or holes in your business model are revealed, don't waste your time fixing it yourself. Just lobby to have laws created to force people to conform to your business model as you describe it to be. If the movie/music industry didn't their dollars in the back pocket of politicians, what would they do? ICE, fascism at it's finest.

  • @3GBlog re1ease, maybe. NV, not so much There's 5 websites that are fighting this currently.

  • imagine what shitstorm would ensue if they wanted to close down 4chan for that reason

  • @Y0UT00B3R1 Brunettes FTW!

  • Forget Rojadirecta, now, check new site : BongDaTV dot Net

  • I agree.. downloading is not illegal! why do we create the technology to download anything we want and yet our government says its illegal!! IF YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD, THEN DOWNLOAD.. ISN'T THAT WHY WE HAVE DOWNLOAD SPEEDS.. and another thing, if movies, games, programs etc etc weren't so damn expensive then maybe just maybe people wouldn't be illegally downloading. Until prices drop and movies are free people will always DOWNLOAD!! thats right download because you can!

  • Either way, RT has some of the most bangin'-est ladies around...it's just too bad that they spew nothing but Russian Propaganda Fuckery...
