Working as an emergency physician for 15 years I am convinced a thumper should be available on every ambulance car. Yet, I am afraid, in Germany, the care provided in this video would be considered sub-standard as the patient is not even intubated and mechanically ventilated. I strongly prefer the German approach to emergency medicine as we have anaesthetists as emergency physicians on the ambulance car.
Twerk, the point of this video is to demonstrate the Lucas Device, not to demonstrate airway management.

I think that when we get the LUCAS HEART THUMPER in more ambulances and more hospitals we will have more successful codes!

no way the autopulse is better t don´t give decompression. It might be more easy to use though it´s nog gas driven.
