Interesting how different they weave. The ACD's don't bent their bodies and hop with 2 feet between poles. Ryker is a bit to fast and has a hard time collecting. Ryddick has the best technique. Head low, single stepping, speed and collects nicely to find the entry. Note, first try he missed the last pole.

  • Which method do you recommend more? I'm choosing between 2x2 and channel but I'm not sure which weaves 'make' a reliable dog with more drive (and less thinking ::) probably channel weave?)..

  • 2x2

They think on how to get in and the speed comes over time. No something you want in teh beginning.

Also, the 2x2's eventually become a channel ;-)

  • 5/5! Great comparison. They're all great, though!

  • Thank you.

  • There was definitely a style difference between the BC's and the ACD's. Especially loved Ryddick's weaves, he's driving through so nicely!

  • this Video is so awesome. <3

    Raygen's little hop is adorable.

but they all look amazing in the weaves X3 so cool

  • Thanks for the comparison, I have taught 3 aussies, 2 channel and my young girl 2x2's....the youngest is head down like a bc and never misses the hard straight on same side entry, it would be only the 3rd weave missed while she is young and cant slow down......my boys are fast although I will be training the entry with using my 2x2's....she will be faster and more confident in the end....confidence equals speed I think

  • Thank you for quick answer! Now, I just need to get Susan's DVD :) ..and wait till the new puppy is born and little grow up ;-)

  • awesome weaves!!!

  • :D good job!

  • Wonderful .Great to see how dogs all do different weaves.
