If you pause at 1:34, you'll notice the guy in the black jersey has his head at rim level (maybe an inch above) and the rim is at 8'6". If he's 6' tall, that's a 30 inch vertical. So I repeat, it's not that they (some of them) can't dunk, it's that they want to do something other than a basic Bruce Bowen "layup dunk".

Cool league guys. I've always wanted to do something like this myself. Too bad my friends would prefer to play on 10 foot rims :(

It's a league FOR FUN. These are average Joe's who don't have 7 foot wing spans (and 9 foot reaches) and want to experience what 7 footers (who can't tie their own damn shoes but can run fine in them) experience in an NBA game.
