Freni is my favorite Puccici heroine, but as much as I love Domingo, this is not his finest performance.

its so funny..this pairing. listen to the reality in her and the practiced conventional holdback in him..she had somthing real to offer you pinkerton/domingo..but you stayed in your safety zone. keep safe and stay away from the danger zone

He recorded it in 1988 with Mirella Freni. It's a great recording. But he sounds very tired throughout the entire thing, but it's still amazing.

Did Carreras ever do Pinkerton or is that a silly question? I love his voice but not sure if it could handle this
