@qqquigley If anyone attempt to include evolution and The Big Bang Theory into Genesis, they are contradicting the Bible, and therefore you should not judge God's word on behalf of what some Christians do.

I'd also like to add this:

The Bible is also like Star Trek because of scientific things.

Recently, there was a study done that showed that going "warp speed" through space would instantly kill people from the amount of radiation. Trekkies immediately responded by saying "the shields would protect us"

This situation is analogous to Christians re-interpreting the Genesis creation story to include evolution, or dinosaurs, or the big bang. (kind of.... - get my point?)
