Tang Lang Quan? this footage comes from a documentary on the Batlle of the Great Wall and no mention of Tang Lang Quan. The 29th army was originally part of Feng Yuxiang army. Feng's troops were trained by the Ma bothers, Ma Fentu and Mangtu, experts in Baji, Pigua, Da Qiang but they were not Tang Lang practitioners.

HI thanks for posting this. It is very interesting historical footage. Do you have any more. It is great to see practical (traditional sword). Are these guo mintang era soldiers?

In the vid they're talking about a 'brave' group of chinese soldiers (of the 29th army) leaded by general song zhe yuan and talking very specific about a man named Zhang jia xuan who killed 7 Japanese soldiers with his dao. Was filmed Sep. 18, 1937
