This wasn't my first pedal but it was my favorite out the ones i had. i had a First Act distortion pedal (piece of shit) and a Dan Electro Flange (another pos) but this one was given to me by my neighbor so i didnt have to pay for it, its pretty good for a free pedal though.

@MZax1101 lol, everyone back in the day hated them.

This was my very first OD pedal. I think I bought mine for $15 used back in 2000 to use in my Blink 182 cover band. Dear God...

sounds much better with your ears not a microphone on a camcorder

Great video !
DOD made some real good pedals
I still have my 1995 distr, and chorus pedals, pristine !
Good work !

I had one of these waaaaay back when I was in a punk band, around 98 or so...it really was very horrible now that I look back on it, but for the time the sound was right on.

@cobain2500 Get a Rat. I have one of these and it's just a toy. I've borrowed my friend's Rat and it (vintage reissue I think?) sounds great.

thanks. this is actually my wife's youtube channel. I've decided to create my own that is only focused on guitar gear and pedals. It will be called pedalheadgeardemos. I'll upload some soon.

what would be a good pedal for a vintage 60's distortion?

probably a electro harmonix Big Muff Pi. The little big muff is a little cheaper... it sounds a little different than the regular, but still is a great pedal.
