My take on Steve Lukather's great tribute. I incorporated some of people and places that I love. The studios are Abbey Road #2, Olympic, Motown, Capitol, Avitar, and The Record Plant.

For the end solo, I play to all my favorite guitarists. Most are well known, some aren't. They are: Mick Ralphs, Robbie Krieger, Al DiMeola, Leslie West, John Cipollina, Dickey Betts, Jimmie Vaughn, Jan Akkerman, Mark Knofler, Patrick Simmons, BB King, Ritchie Blackmore, Chet Atkins, Allen Collins, Steve Morse, Tony Iommi, Pete Townsend, Allen Holdsworth, Keith Richards, Billy Jones, Huey Thomassen, Joe Walsh, Chuck Berry, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Frank Marino, Jourma Koukanen, Eddie Van Halen, Johnny Winter, Paul Kossof, Jeff Beck, Roy Buchanan, Brian Setzer, Stephen Stills and Neil Young, Peter Frampton, Steve Howe, Ty Tabor, Jimmy Page, Steve Gaines, Terry Kath, Robin Trower, Freddy King, Howard Lesse and Mike Fisher, Mike Bloomfield, Angus Young, Joe Satriani, Billy Gibbons Brian May, David Gilmour, Eric Johnson, Jerry Garcia, Guthrie Govan, Carlos Santana, Toy Caldwell, Alvin Lee, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, and Of course, George Harrison.

I have the utmost respect for all these guys. Feel free to add any players you admire. Peace.

  • Fantastic cover, especially with the solo! :)

  • Awesome! Fantastic! Superb!

  • Every once in a while we all experience, hear and/or view something we need to express our feelings for. Something that is so pleasurable, that we just have to take the time to commit on it. That is until we go to do it. We then find ourselves trying to adequately convey in words those feelings, only to find that those words don’t exist. Where do you go from there? My son says you have to invent a new word. I wish I could. I can only say, Wow!

  • you are awesome uncle Jonny!!!!!!!!! so proud of you !!!!

  • For some reason that one note at 4:45 really gets to me -- makes me want to jump up and cheer.

  • Hey John! A beautiful rendering of one of my Fab Four Faves! Great work!
