This is a tribute to my favorite Marianne Faithful songs "The Ballad of Lucy Jordan". If you are a *women... enjoy.

*That also applies to homosexuals.

p.s. - this is also my most technical video yet...there are three SWIRLS...AND a SHATTER! Get ready...

  • I dont see why you said enjoy if you are a woman or homosexual, I am neither yet this is my favorite Marianne song.

  • I was a housewife for 11 years before the ass left me and my kids. I was so depressed the last year of us being together that I would sit and listen to this song over and over and freaking cry..I didn't realize that it ended in suicide until I that year...Isn't that freakin scary?

  • @pratyah ?

  • @PAULLONDEN god never bought bloodshed to this planet, man did that.also, religion is man made and how each man perceives it.i bast baptised church of england.i never attend church to worship,i do that in my front room.remember man kills but god forbids it.

  • @PAULLONDEN God is not a HE/HER/IT. God ist source-creator of all what is. and outer religion-ways brings confusion to us all. search instead for the ways of inner religion. many are there. who is searching will find.

  • The person singing this song is terrible singer ..it is a good song , just needs a better singer !

  • @nethrit

Remember...you're your own God. Religion is for the weak ,who need a fairytale to get them through life.

And it brought this planet nothing but bloodshed.

    ByTheWay....why is your God a 'HE' ?.....

  • @PAULLONDEN oh no you didn't...

  • it might be worth noting that the late, very great shel silverstein wrote this song, and that as far as i know he was not gay (not that it would make a damn to me if he was), and was most certainly not a woman. but shel did write 'a boy named sue' for johnny cash, 'cover of the rolling stone', and many other wonderful songs both humorous and sensitive, and i bet he's up there enjoying this vid. good job!

  • love the visuals with this cut ,, thanks ,,, very evocative for those of us that can feel the pain ,,
