Optimum set-up for best audio quality and power on a remote platform.
Sorry the video is bad - We're making a new one - the unit is in a air handler room with one light.

We are feeding the unit via wireless internent. Our Barix unit is pulling from our studio 3 miles away and filters down some of the bass audio spectrum. Then the audio is compressed. After compression the audio drives the Inovonics pre-emphisis unit which shapes the audio to a broadcasting standard allowing for more distance and quality. The Rangemaster can handle over 100% modulation.

On this site we have two transmitters 300 feet apart. Adding a third, fourth and fith is planned to double the overall footprint saving the need for other locations and labor.

Although our maps of Sioux Falls dont show coverage everywhere, since I turned on this one you can hear the signal everywhere during the day. We now will fill the gaps and enhance our existing transmitter sites.

  • No worries - sorry for the poor video - we are making more detailed ones and a little less shakey!! Be sure to tune in locally or pick up our stream if out of the area.

  • Nice overview, minus the poor lighting. Now, lets hear what it sounds like.
