That's very similar to a Spanish story I heard, in which a lizard repeatedly teaches a song to a bear, who keeps forgetting it and coming back. It that story, the lizard is singing "Rock is my homw." He finally concludes that the reason the bear isn't remembering it is that the bear's home isn't a rock, it's a cave. So bear starts singing "Cave is my home", and remembers the song.
I love the story especially the ending.I wish you could have used a different person for the crow as it makes the story flow better(for kids). Great job!
